Congratulations to you and your family for feeling ready to adopt your new family member! As you may already know, this decision is not one that can be taken lightly.
Every year, each of our breeders undergoes an echocardiogram by a board certified Cardiologist before they are bred. These scans screen for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and other congenital heart defects. The results of these scans are available to anyone who inquires. Our cats are, first and foremost, our beloved pets. They live with us, sleep in our bed, and are spoiled rotten. Our cats are NEVER caged. We are a closed cattery. This means we do not allow outside animals that are not part of our family into our home for the health and safety for our breeders and our kittens.
We are run by a waitlist system, meaning first choice of kittens is always given to people who join our waitlist. If you find a kitten on our website it has most likely not been claimed by someone on our waitlist. If you find a kitten you are interested in, please contact us via the form on our Contact Us page. The most up-to-date information and status of available kittens can be found on our Facebook and Instagram pages (links can be found at the bottom of this page). Kittens may be reserved with a non-refundable $500 deposit. Until we receive the deposit we will do our best to hold your kitten of interest for you but we cannot guarantee it's availability. Once your deposit has been received, we will guarantee the hold of your baby until they are ready to go home at 12-16 weeks of age. Deposits must be sent via Venmo, PayPal or the money sending app of your choice.
Once your kitten is reserved we will email you with our sales contract (which protects both us as the seller and you as the buyer). We must receive back the contract within 2 weeks of our send date (this will be written on the contract) or else we will cancel the sale of your kitten and your kitten will be placed back up for adoption. If you cancel an adoption for any reason, we will retain your deposit which must be used within 24 months or it will be forfeit. Our contract is available to be reviewed under the Adoption tab. We take our contract very seriously! We will send you a personalized contract to sign after you have placed your deposit. You may print the contract, sign it, and scan it to send back to us, where we will gladly sign it ourselves and return you a full copy. If you choose to sign the contract by mail, we will notify you when we mail the contract so you know when to look for it. These contracts will be signed by us, one copy is yours to keep and the other is for you to sign and send back to us for our records.
We know you wish you could be there to watch your baby grow up, so we do our best to keep you in the loop. We will update you with photos and information on your kitten at least every 2 weeks. We will post many updates on our Facebook and Instagram pages (links can be found at the bottom of this page). You may contact us at any time for an update on your kitten and we guarantee to get back to you within 2 business days. We guarantee that your kitten will be seen by a veterinarian, receive 2 rounds of vaccines, be dewormed and be spayed/neutered before they come home to you. You will receive a signed health record to confirm this when you pick up your kitten,
When you come to pick up your baby the remaining balance must be paid in cash. You can pick up your kitten locally. We are also willing to drive and meet you free of charge for up to a 2 hour round trip or if you would like us to travel further we can do so with gas/time compensation. You may also meet us at our nearby airport, Burlington International Airport (BTV). Generally, flying with a kitten costs an additional $125 for the trip. You are responsible to get yourself to the airport and we will meet you at baggage claim. If you cannot fly, we can work to find a flight nanny to bring your kitten to your nearest airport. This could run over $500 depending on the flight nanny and where you live. We do not ship our kittens via cargo since they are so delicate at this young age and they may become very sick by getting either too hot or too cold in the cargo area of an airplane.
We love our cats and we grow to love the families that make them a part of their lives. As a breeder and enthusiast of the Sphynx and Bambino breeds we will always be here for you. We greatly enjoy updates as your kitten grows and especially love pictures of your baby in your home. Nothing makes us happier than seeing our babies grown up in a loving, fantastic home living the life they deserve!
If we didn't cover one of your questions, please let us know!
